Happy 1 Year Anniversary Tantísimo

Our First Wholesale Partner: Tantísimo

Before we officially launched our wholesale program, there was Tantísimo.

Tantísimo opened their restaurant and café in Sylvan Park in May 2025, bringing farm-to-table Latin American food, drinks, and hospitality to 46th Ave N in Nashville. Their restaurant is built on elevated Latin American cuisine, obsessive care, and a clear sense of purpose. Every detail feels intentional, from the quality of their seasonal ingredients to the warmth of their hospitality and the way each dish reflects both craft and generosity.

From the beginning, it was obvious they were building something special. Not just a restaurant, but a place with soul, standards, and an undeniable point of view. That is exactly why we were so honored to help build their coffee program.

But our story with them started long before there was a restaurant or coffee bar.

It started at Richland Park Farmers Market.

We met Ana and Josh through the market, where we fell in love with their food immediately. One market in particular still lives in our heads: they served the best tomato toast we have ever had. The bread was beautiful. The heirloom tomatoes were perfect. The aioli was made from scratch. It was the kind of food that makes you stop mid-bite and think, “Okay, these people really care.”

Over time, we became friends in the way farmers market people become friends. Trading coffee for food. Talking between rushes. Watching each other build something week after week.

So when they told us they were opening a restaurant and that they would like to partner with us, we knew we wanted to help however we could.

Building the Coffee Bar From Scratch

Connor helped Tantísimo build out their coffee bar from the ground up.

That meant thinking through the equipment, layout, workflow, recipes, training, and all the little decisions that make a coffee program feel smooth instead of stressful.

A huge part of that process was helping them source equipment secondhand. Instead of spending a fortune on brand-new gear, Connor helped them find/plan for used equipment that made sense for their space, their volume, and their goals. That saved them many thousands of dollars (or ~$500,000+ of gross revenue needed in order to fund a coffee program through small profit margins) while still giving them a strong, dependable coffee setup for a fraction of the cost.

It was time consuming, but so worth it to do for our friends to help them get started and run a successful coffee operation.

Post install, we found their coffee actually tasted better than bars that used new, world-class equipment because of modifications and techniques we’ve made to best fit their gear and setup. We’ve also learned a lot by fine-tuning their systems in order to improve the coffee we make on our own machinery and mobile coffee bar.

This is the part of wholesale that matters to us.

It is not just about selling coffee. It is about helping a business build a system that fits them.

Why Tantísimo Made Sense for Us

Tantísimo describes itself as a farm-to-table restaurant offering small plates, craft cocktails, and experiences that celebrate Latin America. Their kitchen pulls inspiration from Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Argentina, and beyond, while honoring farmers, buying locally when possible, supporting sustainable farms, reducing waste, and serving seasonal menus throughout the year.

That kind of care matters to us.

Their food is elevated, intentional, and full of life. Their coffee program needed to match that same standard. We wanted their guests to be able to come in for café hours, brunch, or dinner and still experience coffee that felt aligned with the rest of the restaurant.

Ever since meeting Josh and Ana, we’ve aligned on the same simple fact: Quality matters in a way that it is the groundwork and foundation for both of our businesses.

When Tantísimo first expressed interest in a wholesale partnership, they were clear about one important goal: their coffee program needed to feature coffees from Latin American countries in order to align with the rest of their menu. Through a lot of thoughtful planning, sourcing, and recipe development, we were able to build a program that honored that vision while still feeling polished, approachable, and easy for any barista to operate with confidence.

A wholesale partnership, to us, is never a one-size-fits-all approach. We highly respect business models that push against the grain and do things differently. We will always accommodate and support that kind of thinking, as it's an inspiration for ourselves, and our industry.

You Can Drink Pit Stop Coffee at Tantísimo

The Bigger Story

Tantísimo began as a farmers market pop-up in 2020, selling Latin American pastries and baked goods before expanding into savory dishes, and eventually a full brick-and-mortar restaurant.

That makes this partnership feel even more meaningful to us.

We met them in the stage before the restaurant. We watched the dream take shape. Then we got to play a small part in helping their coffee bar become real.

And now, exactly a year into being their wholesale partner, we can say this clearly:

This is the kind of partnership we want more of. Not just accounts. Not just orders. Not just bags going out the door. Real relationships with people who care deeply about what they serve.

Happy One Year Anniversary!

We are incredibly grateful to Ana, Josh, and the Tantísimo team for trusting us with their coffee program. Tantismo has been open for one year on May 5th and we are so proud of them and everything they have built so far. This partnership helped shape the way we think about wholesale, and it is a big reason we are excited to keep building coffee programs for more restaurants, cafés, and hospitality spaces.

Tantísimo is located at:

306 46th Ave N
Nashville, TN 37209

They offer café service, brunch, dinner, takeout, private dining, catering, and reservations through their website.

And when you go, order something beautiful, get a coffee, and tell them we sent you.
