CREATIVITY IN DESIGN

Our rotating single-origin coffee bags are unique not only in flavor, but in design. Each one starts with a carefully chosen image that we feel best represents the coffee’s character. We then create a custom illustration over that image, using a color that reflects the coffee’s predominant flavor profile. This design approach creates an immersive experience, putting you in a specific time and place before you even take your first sip.

Connor grew up surrounded by creativity. His father, Warren, was always making something, and that artistic influence shows up in everything we do. Chloe spent her childhood helping on her mom’s photo shoots and was encouraged by her family to paint and create from a young age. Together, that shared love for art drives the way we approach our coffee packaging.

Nearly every part of our packaging is designed, printed, stamped, cut, and hot-glued by hand, in-house. We even run designs past Warren for his thoughts, and collaborate with our brilliant brand and visual designer, TJ Sheridan, for the heavy lifting.

Doing it ourselves means we print only what we need, when we need it…No overstock, no waiting on vendors, no paying extra for rush shipping or working with domestic vendors that are tied to work with overseas vendors (especially important with tariffs raising costs). Chloe sparked the idea to include a zine in every bag, which led to our signature paper bands. We cut each 8.5x14 sheet into three bands. It’s efficient, tactile, and perfectly us. Sure, this process takes longer, but we love being able to hold something we just made minutes later.
